'Odyssey' has already provided (mar-2002) new IR images. Unfortunately the IR camera has a geometric design which yields, as background, fine 'rectangular grids'. These may coalesce in very large 'rectangular patterns' which are totally spureous and confusing; mainly in low resolution or compressed photos. Thus only high resolution (200 kb or more) pics should be considered for meaningful research. Cydonia is still waiting to be imaged in IR, but some 'ruins' (as paved roads of the ancient past) may appear neat and clean due to the power of IR to distinguish differences in construction materials.
